As we showed in our last post, for many the unique tree of Joshua Tree National Park is the highlight of a visit, but for many others there is something else calling. The lure of this park’s stunning geologic landscape is simply too strong for rock climbers to deny. There are many great hikes leading through towering boulders with names like Jumbo and Split Rock. Likewise, sculptors should flock to this park for the rocks, but also for the forms of plants like the Cholla Cactus and Prickly Pear.
Below we share some of what this desert landscape has to offer, along with our latest Centennial Poster to celebrate the beloved tree of this enchanting place.
