Many years ago the gods fought a great battle in the lands of Utah. So great was the turmoil, they forever stained the ground red and the once smooth mountains were smashed into the beautiful shapes we see today. While geologists might not agree with this story of events, it’s hard not to let your imagination run wild in this wonderland.
Driving through Utah, it’s difficult not to feel overwhelmed by the beauty of everything so vibrantly red around. And so sculpted. If you want a taste of Mars, the region of Canyonlands and Moab might give you a taste of that planet.
Each landscape across America has something unique to offer, and Canyonlands National Park is no different. This seemed a perfect park to share a little bit of advice from, so we turn to Your True Nature for words which you should definitely remember with one of their postcards:
Advice from a Canyon
- Carve out a place for yourself
- Aspire to new plateaus
- Stand the test of time
- Don’t get boxed in
- Listen to the voice of the wind
- It’s okay to be a little off the wall
- Reach deep!
